- Aug 15, 2018 The USB driver is not supported by the automatic recognition system, so NEVER connect the USB cable between the radio and the PC until AFTER the USB driver has been installed. See “Driver installation” on page 3 Installation Guide for details. Once the driver is installed, a PC software can be used by just connecting the USB cable.
USB 3.0 is now supported. NOTE: - After installing the driver, connect the transceiver to the PC, and then the USB driver is automatically installed to add a COM port. The CS-7100, CS-9100 or RS-BA1 must be the USB 3.0 compatible version to use this USB driver. About Device Driver.
Download the correct Icom HDSDR installer. This will install the USB driver. Install it with the radio disconnected. Install a second USB cable from the second USB port on the rear of the IC7610 to your computer. Start N1MM+ and open a Spectrum Window. Download Database. Welcome to the Icom America Download Database. Instruction manuals, brochures and other items are available by radio model.
