HALCON runs on the MATRIX VISION BlueGEMINI smart camera. Profit from HALCON's machine vision power on compact and robust hardware; Access the full functionality of HALCON. ROS Driver for Matrix Vision BlueFOX and BlueCOUGAR cameras. The first cameras was the mvCAM, a smart camera which was available with Windows and Linux operating system. Since then we have managed to expand our portfolio. In the meantime we offer several camera families divided by interface or type: mvBlueFOX - the industrial camera series for USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 (USB3 Vision).

The new mvBlueFOX3-3M range meets the needs of many embedded vision projects for affordable and compact board-level cameras with a flexible interface concept, enabling individualized adaptations to various installation situations and computer connections.

The first product in this series – the mvBlueFOX3-3M-064Z – offers an outstanding price/performance ratio together with the Starvis IMX178. The excellent image quality makes the 6.4-megapixel rolling shutter sensor ideal for a wide variety of applications (medicine, microscopy) and its high speed offers interesting potential for traffic and industrial applications.
